Thank you for choosing to book with the King William the fourth Guest House in Settle.

When you make a booking you will be entering an agreement with us with the terms and conditions as follows.

Prices: Includes accommodation and breakfast, single occupancy rates must be noted in your booking notes if applicable.

The following rooms (Flying Herbert, Fuggles, Theakstons, and Old Peculier) can accommodate a ‘Roll away-bed’ – £20 Supplement (check availability by phone)

Children over five years old are welcome

Pets: as per our Pet Policy at £5 per pet per night maximum 2 Dogs.

Payment Method:

Deposits: must be made in advance* of arrival by Cash, Cheque or Bank Transfer – Bank Details included on your provisional email booking. Card details are taken over the phone and keyed directly into the PDQ Machine; we do not hold details on our computer systems.

There is no charge for Debit Cards, however we do charge 3% for Credit Cards, and we do not accept American Express or Diners Card or Pay Pal.

*advance in relation to the period between the time the booking was made and subsequent booking confirmation by payment of the deposit.  “Long Term Bookings” – Deposits need to be paid 8 weeks in advance. “Short Term Bookings” – Deposits need to be paid within 1 week in advance. “Immediate Bookings” – Deposits need to be made over the phone or Bank Transfer only.

Once you have booked your stay and paid the 30% Deposit, our agreement is a legal contract and this deposit is non-refundable.

If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to three weeks before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you will be liable for the total amount.

Final Balance: is made on check-out can be made by Cash or Card (Debit Cards Free and the 4% for Credit Cards) only.

Non-Availability: We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer alternative accommodation, however if this is not possible, or unacceptable to you then we would refund all monies paid to you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Check In / Check Out:

Guests are welcome to arrive after 4.30pm (or before 12.30pm by prior arrangement) please contact us if you will be arriving beyond 9pm. Rooms must be vacated by 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

If you are using a baggage transfer service, please advise us so that we can contact them to make the necessary arrangements.
